A Dutch Silver Miniature Longcase Clock/ Watch Holder. The decorative case embossed and chased with scrolls of foliage, a garland of fruit surrounding the dial aperture and a scenic cartouche with two figures to the bombe shaped base. The hood surmounted by a figural finial to the centre and flaming scrolls either side. The cross-hatched trunk with a pierced door incorporating a cockerel, and embossed portrait medallions to the sides. The base raised on ball & claw feet (A/F), 9½” (24 cm) in height.
