Description
Two 19th Century Carved Boxwood Knitting Sheathes. A Goosewing knitting sheath attributed to Cumbria decorated with geometric chip carving and having a turned & chip carved haft, 10½” (26.5 cm) in length. And another with a swept round ended blade and unusual haft carved in the form of a bunch of foliage and tassels hanging from the round turned stem with brass collar to the end, 9½” (24 cm) in length.
