The largest simply decorated with a incised border band of punched quatrefoil motifs to the lid, on wire hinges with pivoting hook catches, 3” (7.5 cm) high, 6” (15 cm) wide, 4¼” (11 cm) deep. The smaller box nail punched with a quatrefoil motif and initials S A to the lid, 2” (5 cm) high, 4¾” (12 cm) wide, 3½” (9 cm) deep.*
