A George III Silver Salver by Robert Jones, with London assay marks for 1781. The raised border edged with dual beading. The centre emblazoned with an engraved armorial crest for Lomax of Hertfordshire & Westminster incorporating a dog and three scallop shells within a beaded oval panel encircled by a floral wreath, The underside also engraved with a wreath of flowers, standing on four ball & claw feet, 14½” (37 cm) in diameter.
