An Impressive, Unusual and Highly Decorative Vintage Silver Zuni Beaded Foxtail Necklace, featuring blossoms with bell attachments and a horse shoe naja to the centre, undoubtedly by Bernard Bowekaty. The bells and blossoms are inlaid with rich turquoise in a variety of sizes and with a beautiful patina. The largest naja decoration is approx. 9cm tall including the hanging bell, 8cm wide, the smaller bell decorations are approx. 6cm tall, 5cm wide. the chain is approx. 56 cm in length. The decorative flowers approx. 3.5 cm tall/wide. [The piece appears in Art and Barbara Bell’s 1977 book ”Zuni the Art and the People” pg 44 Vol 3].
