Five Items of Treen: Two 19th century platters, possibly mahogany with turned moulding to the borders and a slightly raised foot to the base; the largest 13¾” (35 cm) in diameter, the other 8¾” (22 cm) in diameter. And a simple dished plate, possibly of Acacia wood, with flat base and upswept rim, 8½” 21.5 cm) in diameter. A 19th century turned walnut bowl on a moulded pedestal foot with baize underside, 4½” (11.5 cm) high, 8” (20 cm) in diameter. And a flat-bottomed mahogany dish of oval form with moulded rim and sides, 2” (5 cm) high, 10” x 8½” (25 cm x 21.5 cm).*
