A Set of Antique Brass Postal Scales, a Telescope and a Spirit Level. The scales stamped WARRANTED ACCURATE and mounted on a wooden base with serpentine front inset with a 8oz weight to one side, 4 oz to the other flanking a stacking nest of 2oz, 1oz and two ½oz weights. The two drawer telescope with mahogany casing and gilt brass mounts 14½” (36 cm) in length. The brass mounted spirit level 7” (18 cm) in length.
