Four Items of Treen: A Coconut Shell Goblet/Pedestal Bowl, probably late 18th century, having a silvered metal rim band, a short reel turned stem and domed coconut shell foot, 5” (13 cm) in height. A Round Lidded Jar (A/F); the ogee moulded sides composed of alternating coloured staves bound by a brass rim mount above a decorative turned border (foot mount missing) with a moulded lid with raised marquetry zigzag beading and pierced hole to the centre, accompanied by a hand scribed note reading ‘Dutch Tobacco Box late 18th Cent Damaged – but OK for Exhibition Handle Carefully’, 4” (10 cm) high, 5” (13 cm) in diameter. A turned 18th century bowl with incurvate rim and wire repairs to the cracked sides, 3” (80 cm) high, 7” (18 cm) in diameter. And a 19th Century Coopered Tankard bound with a brass rim and foot band and a strings of twisted brass wire, with a fret-cut crested S-scroll handle mounted to one side, 5” (13 cm) in height.*
