Three Polychrome Painted Figural Corkscrews: A Syroco Figure of a Clown standing with tambourine & ball at his feet, made in New York USA Circa 1930, with a centre cut helix and padded base with paper label inscribed ‘KING’ New York, 8¾” (22 cm) in height. Another by Syroco of New York moulded as the bust of ‘Mr Pickwick’ surmounting a centre cut helix, circa 1930, 8” (20 cm) in length. And an Italian figure by Antonio Riffeser carved from wood in the form of a sailor playing an accordion, his head lifting to reveal a centre cut helix, 6½” (16.5 cm) in height.
