A 19th Century Turned Coromandel String Box & A Treen Loving Spoon: The box having a moulded screw on lid with string dispenser to the centre above cylindrical sides and a flat round foot with ring turning to the underside, 5½” (14 cm) in height. The scumble glazed spoon having a heart shaped bowl with a naively carved trail of foliage leading up the stem to a pierced cruciform roundel finial with carved cross-hatching, 10¾” (27 cm) in length.
