Two Fine 19th Century Puzzle Balls: One of richly patinated box-wood decorated with ebonised ring turned roundels centred by stud buttons; one pushing out an inner peg-shaped section capped by the opposing roundel, 1¾” (4.5 cm) in diameter. The other possibly yew-wood, with ring-turned roundels centred by inlaid marquetry stars and enclosing a screw topped container within.*
