Description
A Late 18th Century Coconut Shell Goblet on a later turned Lignum Vitae Base. The bowl carved with a heraldic crest flanked by laurel sprays to one side, with two oriental figures beneath a rain cloud flanked by bamboo to the opposing side. The stem enhanced with urn-shaped knop & fillet turning leading down to a stepped circular foot. Possibly Colonial, Circa 1775-80, 4¾” (12 cm) in height.
