A Late 19th/Early 20th Century African Bwami Lukungu Ivory Maskette from the Lega peoples. The typical concave oval face of rich nutty patination with bulging oval open eyes, a narrow-ridged long nose and an oval open mouth, decorated with circle dots and cheek scars. 6 1/8” high, 3¼” wide (15.5 cm x 8.5 cm).
