A Fine 19th Century Mahogany Knitting Sheath with brass inlay and bone inlay. The curved rectangular section stem with upswept end dotted with bone & ebony ‘piqué’ work and inset with a brass heart and diamonds, along with sheet brass lining to the L-shaped notch and a plate surrounding a needle hole, 6 in (15 cm) in length.
