Description
A Small Victorian Figured-Walnut Sutherland Table. The fine burr-figured oval drop-leaf top with moulded edge, on turned end supports with spiral-groove fluting and out-swept legs carved with foliate sprays, united by a turned wrythen-fluted centre stretcher and having slender swing-out legs to support the leaves with similar wrythen grooves. The scrolling feet raised on white ceramic castors with brass castors to the hinges legs 22” (56 cm) high, 21½” (55 cm) wide, 5” (13 cm) deep [leaves down], extending to 30” (76 cm) [leaves up].
