A Small 16th/17th Century Continental Joined Walnut Armchair. The cresting rail raised up to the centre and carved with a pair of voluted S-scrolls above initials MDV. The open back with centre splat. The moulded arm rests on turned baluster posts leading to a solid seat on moulded rails and columnar legs united by peripheral stretchers, 37½” (95 cm) high, 20½” (52 cm) wide.
