Description
Two 19th Century French Treen Butter Dishes and a Turned Walnut Bowl. The circular butter dishes attributed to the Auvergne, with ring-turned sides and lids surmounted by knop handles; one 4½” (11 cm) high, 5” (13 cm) in diameter, the other 3¼” (8 cm) high, 5” (13 cm) in diameter. The bowl attributed to the Limousin region, 5½” (14 cm) high, 11” (28 cm) in diameter.
