Description
A Large 17th Century Oak Side Table. The twin-plank top with applied edge moulding above a carved frieze rail with three small leaf motifs to the centre flanked by guilloche bands, and carved S-scroll spandrels to the corners. The palmate carved tenon blocks heading baluster & reel turned front legs connected to rear stiles by peripheral stretchers enhanced with chip carving. Branded with initials ID above the front left foot. 31½” (80 cm) high, 43¼” (110 cm) wide, 21½” (54.5 cm) deep.
