A Fine Quality Mid 19th Century English Marquetry Table in the manner of Edward Holmes Baldock. The oval top displaying a central panel of rich deep brown burr figured timber in a walnut border inlaid with trellis filled cartouches, trailing flowers and undulating cross-grained bands, edged with a gilt bronze gallery rail. The sweeping lattice inlaid frieze housing a drawer to one side. Standing on square tapering cabriole legs adorned with well cast & chiselled gilt bronze moulnts, 28½” (72 cm) high, 22” (56 cm) wide, 16” (41 cm) deep.
