A Fine Quality Satinwood & Parquetry Marble-topped Side Cabinet attributed to Donald Ross of Denmark Hill, London, Circa 1880’s. The frieze and rounded sides inlaid with a lattice of interwoven amaranth, ebony & boxwood bands interspersed with dots and mounted with decorative gilt bronze embellishments and beading. The grey veined white marble top edged in finely cast foliate trim. The glazed door with amaranth banded borders outlined in stringing, enclosing shelves within. Standing on a plinth base 42½” (108 cm) high, 35” (89 cm) wide, 14” (35.5 cm) deep.
