A 19th Century French Empire Dwarf Bookcase. The rectangular vert marble top above a flame figured frieze adorned with gilded anthemion mount to the centre flanked by square break front panels inset with coromandel and adorned with gilt roundels above coromandel pilasters with parcel gilt moulding to the tops and feet. The open front case with one shelf, standing on a plinth base edged in beading, 34” (86.5 cm) high, 25” (64 cm) wide, 14½” (36 cm) deep.
