Description
A Small 18th Century Joined Oak Low Backstool. The plain panel back beneath a scalloped cresting rail, with bands of bold diagonal chequer parquetry to the frame. The plank seat above parquetry banded drawer hung of side groove runners and raised on short columnar legs united by peripheral stretchers and terminating with small brass castors, 36” (91 cm) high, 13½” (34 cm) seat height, 15” (38 cm) width.
