Description
Two 19th Century French Hairwork Memorials set in oval moulded & ebonised frames behind domed glass. One incorporating a photographic portrait of a man flanked by sprays of flowers and ferns tied in a bow at the bottom with initials JB and date 1871, signed Viallate J, 14¼” x 12” (36 cm x 30.5 cm). The other with hair & wire work spray of flowers tied with a satin ribbon bow, 12” x 9” (30.5 cm x 24 cm).
