An Early Victorian Tôleware Strong Box of rectangular form. The top having a locking lid painted with chinoiserie scene in a key pattern border and outer band of mother of pearl flecked inlay. The sides painted with floral sprays and standing on bun feet, 5½” (13.5 cm) high, 6” (15 cm) deep, 9¼” (243.5 cm) wide.
