The curved iron crank handle with turned finial slotting onto an axle centring a flat lift off lid with turned rim. The cylindrical body over a rounded square base housing an unusual dug-out grinds scoop with round turned facade incorporating a knob handle. The scoop secured by a wooden screw thread wing nut. The piece terminating on a round turned foot, 11½” (29 cm) overall in height, 3” (7.5 cm) wide.*
