Description
A Large & Impressive Edwardian Painted Satinwood Bookcase (A/F). The upper section composed of a central glazed twin-doored cupboard flanked by single-doored side cupboards beneath ogee arched pediments adorned with decorative mouldings. The glass doors with arched glazing bars enclosing shelves within, flanked by baluster turned pilasters enhanced with painted leaves. The base section housing four panel doors emblazoned with urns of flowers & fruit contained in oval bands with scrolling foliate embellishments to the corners. Standing on a moulded base with painted bun feet, 102 (260 cm) high, 96” (244 cm) wide.
