The top with concaved sides, enhanced by a banded border of painted floral swags tied with ribbon bows and punctuated with cherub medallions edged in strings of pearls to rounded protuberants above the pilasters. The frieze ornamneted with a relief carved parcel gilt trail of undulating foliate scrolls and housing a drawer to the centre. The two glazed centre cabinet doors with decorative gilt edged glazing bars enclosing glass display shelves within. The incurvate side cupboards painted with oval panels of celestial cherubs beneath swagged garlands. The parcel gilt fluted pilasters having carved goats head capitals above collars of rising plumes and pendant plantain leaves; the half columns adorned with chains of bell-flowers and beads. Standing on decoratively carved feet 42” (107 cm) high, 65” (165 cm) wide, 15½” (39 cm) deep. Printed paper Maples Depository label to back.
