A Late Victorian Upholstered Arm Chair. The padded rectangular back panel below a carved pediment centered by a cartouche and flanked by foliate scrolls beneath a turned top rail with central upholstered head rest. The scroll end arms with padded elbow rests leading down to a sprung seat on short reeded baluster legs with brass castors. The upholstery now covered in machine woven tapestry, 39¾” (101 cm) high, 27” (69 cm) wide.
