A 17th Century Oil on Canvas: Impressive Portrait of King Henry VII wearing a jewel encrusted doublet decorated with gold braid, a gold collar and gown lined with lynx fur, with a black bonnet decorated with jewels and white ostrich feather [a copy of a later derivation of Holbein’s Whitehall portrait destroyed by fire in 1698], 30” x 25” (76 cm x 64 cm) contained within a 17th century carved giltwood auricular frame 37” x 32” (94 cm x 81 cm).
