The ovoid body decorated with figural scenes in shaped panels either side, surrounded by a mass of scrolling Ming style flowers and fitted with metal swing handles on split pin attachments piercing the shoulders. The domed cover centred by a ring handle. The piece standing on a carved hardwood base, 14½” (27 cm) in height.
