The top having a hinged lid accessing a partitioned frieze compartment (lacking fittings) enclosed behind three faux drawers, with three further banks of three conforming drawers below; one being a dummy fronted cupboard. The drawers all edged in cock-beading with brass lined keyholes and cast gilt brass laurel wreath ring handles on embossed rosette mounts. Standing on a plinth base 33½ in (85 cm) high, 44 in (112 cm) wide, 18 in (46 cm) deep.
