A Rare Cromwellian Leather Box-seated Chair. The slung rectangular back, uprights, padded seat and box sides with leather cladding edged in brass studs. The seat hinged to one side with a catch release button to the underside of the box, standing on ball turned legs united by peripheral stretchers, 87.5 cm high, 48 cm wide, 41 cm deep (34½” h. 19” w. 16” d.)
