A Large 17th Century Carved Oak Court Cupboard dated 1666 (A/F). The upper section having a frieze rail carved with a band twinned S-scrolls enriched with punchwork, centred by the intials I.L. and date 1666 above a scrolling central ‘apron-piece’ and voluted spandrels either side, overhanging a recessed cupboard flanked by reel turned posts. The horizontal doors panels carved with lozenge motifs, between vertical lozenge panels to the centre and sides. The base section having a guilloche rail above three frieze drawers with applied edge moulding, over two large panelled doors flanked by side panels and standing on block stile feet, 59” (150 cm) high, 77½” (197 cm) wide, 22½” (57 cm) deep.
