Description
A Late 17th/Early 18th Century Joined oak back Stool. The panel back emblazoned with a flower head roundel emitting wrythen rays, set between a crested top rail with nulling and a foliate carved base rail, flanked by plain uprights surmounted by square faceted finials. The plank seat on ribbed front legs and plain back legs united by a ball knopped front stretcher and plain side & rear rails, 42” (107 cm) high, 20” (51 cm) wide, 17” (43 cm) deep.
