Description
An Impressive 17th Century & Later Carved Oak Full Tester Bed. The tester composed of twelve panels edged with cornice moulding, raised on decorative turned foot posts and a carved head-board incorporating ornamental corbels to the frieze above two arcaded panels marquetried with flowering plants contained in guilloche carved arches recessed within frames of scrolling strapwork. The muntins adorned with atlantes and caryatids above a gadrooned candle ledge and four plain base panels. 75” (190 cm) high, 59” (150 cm) wide, 86” (218 cm) in length.
