A Small 17th Century Boarded Oak Coffer. The plank top with groove moulded borders on iron strap hinges. The front board with chip carved ends, fitted with an iron lock-plate and enriched with carved tracery incorporating a grid of trefoil motifs. The supporting end boards with arch cut feet, 19½” (49.5 cm) high, 30” (76 cm) wide, 15” (38 cm) deep.
