A 17th Century Carved Oak Press Cupboard, attributed to the Lake District. The top rail carved with initials E.D. and date 1673 amidst leafy S-scrolls on a cut away ground. The two doors having fielded twin panels carved with interlaced strapwork defined against a punched ground and opening to reveal hanging space extending into the box-form base above two drawers below. Standing on stile supports 62 ins (157.7 cm) high, 48 ins (122 cm) wide, 19 ins (48 cm) deep.
