A Late Georgian Mahogany Dressing Chest (A/F). The two-part lid hinged to the sides and folding out to form trays flanking a wash bowl aperture with a slide up frame (lacking mirror) to the back. The front having two upper drawers (one dummy fronted, the other now fixed) above a pot cupboard and commode drawer below with twin faux drawer facade edged with cock-beading and standing on square feet. The sides fitted with brass carrying handles, 36” (91 cm) high, 20” (51 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm) deep.
