A Pair of Fine Mid 19th Century French Marble & Gilt Bronze Cassolettes in the Louis XVI Style. The turned blue-green veined marble urns adorned with recessed frieze bands of entwined laurel garlands and raised on rams’ head supports with hoof feet leading down to a triform plinth centred by a decorative finial and mounted with floral garlands and paterae. The domed lids surmounted by fircone finials, 19” (48 cm) in height.
