Description
A Small 16th/17th Century Oak Coffer, possibly for a Child, of joined and boarded construction. The plank top with cleated ends on original iron split pin hinges, with an iron hasp and lock plate to the front centring a nulled frieze above two plain panels divided by a channel-moulded muntin. The chests raised on run-moulded stiles to the front an V-cut end planks, 23” (58.5 cm) high, 28¾” (73 cm) wide, 17” (43 cm) deep.
