Description
A 16th Century Oak Armorial Panel boldly carved with a heraldic shield emblazoned with a twin headed eagle and held aloft by a pair of lions sejant rampant; their tails swept around their bodies with the ends in their mouths. The carving raised against a sunken ground and embellished with chip carving and punchwork, 18½ in x 10½ in (47 cm x 25.5 cm).
