A Small 17th Century Flemish Carved Oak Cabinet on Stand. The deep cornice moulding above a carved frieze of undulating acanthus scrolls centred by an angel head corbel. The cabinet doors having cushion moulded panels carved with falconers framed by foliate borders and divided by breakfront pilasters with stop fluted half-columns surmounted by Ionic scroll capitals. The frieze drawer below adorned with leonine corbels. The base carved with a frieze of lavishly scrolling foliage inset with small ebony plaquettes, standing on bulbous ball-knopped legs 54¼” (138 cm) high, 35” (89 cm) wide, 18” (46 cm) deep.
