A Pair of 19th Century Twin-Branch Lustre Candlesticks. The urn shaped gilt bronze stems cast with protuberant lion heads and fanned foliage, raised on black columnar pedestals adorned with relief cast hairy-heads festooned in laurel garlands above square plinth bases on gilt ball feel, and surmounted by anthemion style finials. Each side mounted with a cornucopia horn bearing a candle cup above an umbrella-shaped fan of pierced anthemion motifs hung with a cascade of facet-cut lustre pendants. 13” (33 cm) in height.
