The headboard incorporating a broad dentil moulded top rail carved with interlinked C-scrolls & foliage enhanced by punchwork above two recessed lozenge carved panels with candle ledge, divided by a band of carved roundels to the central muntin and foliate C-scrolls either side. The four plain base panels in chip carved frames. The end posts headed by scrolled capitals above tapered columns adorned with strap-work and bulbous reeded knops pegged into square block foot sections lavishly decorated with arabesque strapwork and edged in moulding. 79 in (201 cm) high, 82¾ in (210 cm) long, 63 in (160 cm) wide.
