The round black marble inset inlaid with various coloured marbles and stones depicting two birds and a branch of fruiting vine, within foliate carved edge moulding above a frieze of Vitruvian scrolls. Standing on a stop fluted baluster pedestal carved with a crown of crested leaves above a triform base on lion paw feet, 32” (81cm) high, 29” (74 cm) in diameter.
