Description
An Empire Period Silver Oil Lamp. The urn shaped oil reservoir having two upswept spouts with domed caps attached by open link chains to a pineapple finial along with snuffers and pick. The lamp surmounted by a handle and fitted with a scroll arm bearing a convex panel shade. Standing on a tapering centre column and round base adored with bands of stiff leaves 20½” (52 cm) in height.
