A Late 17th Century Joined Oak Box Stool. The rectangular lid having three incised lines to the border, on wire hinges above an edge moulded frieze with later carved initials IB and date 1724 gouge carved to the front. The baluster legs joined by groove moulded peripheral stretchers and terminating on ball feet, 18 in (46 cm) high, 18½ in (47 cm) wide, 16 in (41 cm) deep.
