A Fine Walnut and Seaweed Marquetry Day Bed with caned back & support protected by a long black cushion. The frame-work inlaid with D-ended panels of interlaced elaborately scrolling stems, bordered in bands of imbricated oak leaves edged with stringing. The back having a shaped cresting rail flanked by barley-twist supports surmounted by turned finials. The four barley twist legs united by serpentine cut peripheral stretchers terminating on eight bun feet adorned with turned finials, 46” (117 cm) high, 26½” (67 cm) wide, 72½” (184 cm) in length.
