The rectangular upholstered back and seat covered in wool-work tapestry depicting a figure on horseback galloping through landscape amidst scrolls of foliage and edged with brass studs. The scroll end arms on inverted cup-knopped supports leading down to similarly turned legs united by a moulded wavy X-frame stretcher with a turned finial to the centre, 51” (130 cm) high, 23¾” (60 cm) wide.
