Two Similar 19th Century Yew-wood ‘Best Low’ Windsor Armchairs attributed to Nottinghamshire. Both having a decorative burr-figured centre splat pierced with Christmas tree motifs and flanked by six long spindles with six further under arm spindles and well-turned side posts leadind down to an elm seat. The turned baluster legs united by crinoline stretchers. One 37” (94 cm) high, the seat 17½” (44.5 cm) high, 21” (53 cm) wide. The other 36” (92 cm) high, the seat 17” (43 cm) high, 21” (53 cm) wide.
